Is summer on its way…….sure looks like it
A sign seen on The Cobb at Lyme Regis. A statement of hope perhaps rather than that of reality.
The unusual shape of the lampposts in Lyme Regis is designed to illustrate its place on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage site, and is an indication of the type of fossils that can be found there.
Another image from last year processed today (I told you I was doing a trawl through all my images 😉 ). This is Colver Hill in Dorset, a conspicuous landmark visible from many places around the area.
As part of the exercises set for the weekend visit to Lyme Regis with the Camera Club we were set the task of creating a Tourist Postcard using our images to advertise the town. This was my effort…..
This boy is having fun blowing bubbles….is he trying to hit the seagull with them? 🙂
If you zoom in on this image you will see all the different surface textures. I have applied a subtle vignette to focus the eye on the fossil.
