I spotted these in a street in Plymouth. They were installed in the pavement (sidewalk) outside some large townhouses and were there to allow the coal to be delivered without disturbing the refined residents.
A covered walkway in the old Naval Supplies complex in Plymouth waterfront. I liked the way the light came through the arches.
This enormous viewing wheel is on the Hoe in Plymouth, an area frequented by many people on a nice day.

These stairs at back of an old Tweed mill in Selkirk (near my birthtown) have lain silent for many years now.
Came across this old street during our walkabout in Dartmouth. Love the textured cobbles and the curve of the steps to a hidden place.
